Assen - Jorge Lorenzo is the more steady step towards the MotoGP world title. Fiat Yamaha rider was yesterday posted a fourth this season. He became the fastest in the Dutch MotoGP at Assen Circuit.
In all the 27 lap race that, Lorenzo posted the fastest time 41 minutes 18.629 seconds. He was about three seconds ahead of Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) who finished second. While the third position is occupied Marlboro Ducati rider Casey Stoner.
Lorenzo's four victories have been accrued equals the amount that victory last season. It means Spaniard's performance was much improved when compared with last season. This season, he likely doubled the number of victories because there are still 12 races again.
The victory yesterday spelled out special. Because, he was the fastest since the first practice session, second, qualification, until heating. He had an alias sweep sweeping all the race held in Assen yesterday.
If history can be used to predict the future, the victory was a sign that Lorenzo is now heading his first world title in the premier class. "The competition was a bit more difficult than at Silverstone," Lorenzo said as quoted by Autosport. "Dani at the beginning of the race faster because it uses soft tire. But then I still believe can win because at the end of my race to be faster," he added.
Lorenzo and the other drivers do not have much time to rest. Next week, they competed again at the Catalunya MotoGP. Mepetnya time will make every team is difficult to develop the motor. So Lorenzo is likely to continue dominance.
